The South Hill Rotary Club holds 2 annual social events for the membership. The first is the "Family Picnic" which is hel in late summer or early fall based on the weather and the clubs working schedule. The second is "Spouses Night" which is now held in January to help avoid the exceptionally busy holiday season which gives the members a relaxed family night.
These 2 events are somthing to be looked forward to each year. The chance to recharge the batteries and to increase the friendships among the members.
Spouses Night: This year Rotarian Jimmie Crowder decided, when asked to assist in singing carols, to take over the show from our entertainment Patsy Butler (provided by Rotarian Woody Kidd). The antics and laughter went on for quite sometime.
